It was a busy and highly creative year 2023: with 7 new works and their premieres Thorsten had the greatest possible output. These include symphonic pieces such as Metamorphosen as well as the song cycle On the Island II for voice and ensemble, chamber music for various instrumentations and the highly virtuosic arrangement of Debussy's La Mer for 21 players.

2024 brings more worldwide screenings of cellist Tanja Tetzlaff's OPUS-Klassik awarded movie Suites for a Suffering World including Thorsten's "Black Ice" - Suite for solo cello and tape, a new interpretation of the clarinet concerto with Ishay Lantner and the Philharmonic Orchestra Kiel 21st of April and new compositions for various instrumentations. The 3D audio production of the OPUS Klassik nominated project The ocean is a noisy place is in progress and will be released this year.
